1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how UVR Vocal Remover handles information. The app separates vocals and instrumental audio entirely on your Mac. It does not require an account and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking technology.

2. Audio and files on your Mac

UVR Vocal Remover accesses only audio files that you select or drag into the app. Processing takes place locally with Apple Core ML and AVFoundation. The app creates a "Separated Audio" folder beside the selected source file and saves one vocals WAV file and one instrumental WAV file there.

Your source audio, model input, processing results, file names, and file paths are not uploaded to us.

3. Data we do not collect

We do not collect personal data from the app, create advertising profiles, track you across apps or websites, or sell personal information. The app contains no telemetry or analytics service.

4. Network access and purchases

The app does not require network access for audio processing. Apple processes App Store downloads, purchases, and related account information under Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card information.

5. Website and support messages

This website does not use analytics scripts, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. GitHub hosts the website and may process standard security and access logs under GitHub's privacy practices.

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and attachments. We use it only to reply, investigate the issue, maintain necessary support records, and meet legal obligations. Please review attachments before sending them because they may contain file names, paths, or system details.

6. Retention and security

Information sent for support is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, recordkeeping, and legal obligations. You control deletion of audio and output files stored on your Mac.

7. Children

UVR Vocal Remover is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
